Privacy Glass

Tinted privacy glass on XLS, VR and VRX adds to the security and privacy of your cabin area – and keeps valuables out of sight. The tint is ingrained in the glass so won’t peel or scratch as can be the case with laminates.

Chrome Dual Exhaust

A genuine, sleek chrome exhaust on Outlander V6 models adds a touch of style and sportiness.

Easy Loading Rear Tailgate

Loading up just got a whole lot easier! A unique fold-down tailgate gives a lower load-in height, so bulky items not only fit into Outlander – but slide in more easily.

Smart Key Entry

With Smart Key Entry on XLS and VRX, Outlander knows you’re coming. You simply touch the door handle, and Outlander recognises you and your Smart Key – and unlocks. You can even start the ignition without inserting a key.

Alloy Wheels

Outlander boasts lightweight stylish alloy wheels on all models. VR, XLS, and VRX models have 18" alloys while LS has 16" alloy wheels.

Automatic Dusk Sensing Headlamps

The VRX and optional XLS Luxury Pack models help you stay focused on the road at all times by automatically turning on your lights when it gets dark or when you’re traveling through a tunnel.

Automatic Rain Sensing Wipers

VRX and the optional XLS Luxury Pack come equipped with premium technology such as rain sensing wipers. A sensor automatically detects moisture on the windscreen and according to the amount of rain present the system will activate the wipers at the appropriate speed.

Fog lamps at the front of XLS, VR and VRX provide improved visibility in difficult driving situations

High Intensity Discharge (HID) Headlamps with Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS)

Intelligent self levelling HID headlamps adjust to suit driver requirements and provide better visibility for night driving. AFS provides increased illumination of corners when the car is turning.Standard on XLS and VRX.

Automatic Climate Control Air Conditioning

With Outlander, you’ll always enjoy a comfortable ride, no matter what the weather is like outside. The sophisticated Mitsubishi Climate Control system will automatically and continually adjust the temperature inside the cabin. Standard on XLS, VR and VRX models.

Rockford Fosgate® Audio System

Outlander’s Rockford Fosgate® Audio System delivers an impressive 710 watts, with 9 surround-sound speakers and an integrated 10 inch subwoofer. It also boasts an MP3 compatible CD player. Standard on VRX and included in optional XLS Luxury Pack.

Multi-function Display

Outlander features sporty instrumentation dials with an LED Multi Information Display which provides handy vehicle information such as fuel consumption, a trip computer and outside temperature functions. You can configure the display to show you exactly the information you want.

Bluetooth® phone connectivity

Outlander XLS and VRX have the latest hands-free phone system technology with controls on the steering wheel for answering and ending calls. When a call comes through, the Bluetooth® system automatically cuts into the radio and when a paired Bluetooth® compatible phone is within the vehicle, it’s automatically connected. On the XLS model you can make calls with simple voice commands allowing you to stay focussed on the road*. *When MMCS is fitted satellite navigation voice recognition commands replace Bluetooth® voice recognition commands.

Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS) with Satellite Navigation

MMCS not only directs you to your destination with Satellite Navigation touch screen functionality, it allows you to see what's behind you with reversing camera appearing on screen. And MMCS puts you in control of an array of vehicle information like fuel economy and average driving speed, as well as outside environmental information, maintenance instructions, air conditioning and audio settings. The system is also iPod compatible.

Leather-wrapped Steering Wheel

A luxurious, leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a subtle element of refinement to the Outlander and enhances the overall driving experience.

Paddle gearshifts

Inspired by Mitsubishi’s World Rally Heritage, paddle gearshifts on the steering wheel in XLS, VR and VRX give you ultimate control in an automatic. You can make rapid gear changes in Sports Mode, without your hands ever leaving the wheel.

Smart Key

Smart Key is Mitsubishi’s advanced security transmitter, which means completely key-less operation. Thanks to Smart Key in XLS and VRX, Outlander can recognise the key within a 70cm radius. So, you can lock and unlock the doors, open the tailgate and even start the engine, all whilst the Smart Key is still tucked in your pocket or bag. The days of searching and fumbling for keys are no longer in your new Outlander.

Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)

CVT, available on 4 cylinder models, offers infinitely variable gear ratios that allow the engine to always operate at optimum RPM, irrespective of the vehicle’s speed. This maximises power and economy helping to ensure a smooth, stable ride with seamless gear changes.

MIVEC Engine

The Outlander’s 3.0L V6 or 2.4L 4-cylinder MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control) engine offers the latest technology with a lighter engine and intelligent valve timing technology. This delivers fuel efficiency and lower emissions, yet still provides excellent driveability andtowing power. It minimises fuel consumption at lower revs while increasing airflow at high revs for greater power and performance.

INVECS ‘Smart Logic’ transmission

The Smart Logic transmission system learns and adapts to each driver's preferences by recording engine and foot brake data. The control logic then adapts the gearshift timing to suit your style. This means it adapts to your driving style.

Door Bottle Holders

The base of the Outlander’s front doors, feature a handy space for storing bottles - so a beverage is never far away.

Tissue Box Holder

A clever tissue-box holder fits smoothly under the centre console lid. It’s easily accessible and also out of sight.

Automatic Roll-and-Tumble Rear Seats

You simply flick a switch and the second row of seats fold and tumble forward – giving you a completely flat bed in the back, and a huge 1,691L of storage volume.

Optional 7 Seats

The Outlander LS model has the option to comfortably seat 7 people. The third row of seats also fold and store under the rear floor – providing greater rear cargo storage.

Storage Versatility

The Outlander has a range of storage options. Seats roll or fold away with ease. The luggage space is wide and easily fits sporting gear or other bulky items. The interior also features a range of storage spaces and pockets to keep the Outlander free of clutter.

Safety

All Wheel Control (AWC) and Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC)

When you need increased traction and stability for more difficult driving conditions, Outlander is equipped with the latest four wheel drive technology. The constant All Wheel Drive V6 models come with S-AWC which allows you to switch instantly between three modes: 'Tarmac' for paved roads, 'Snow' for slippery roads and 'Lock' for steady control on rougher roads. Outlander four cylinder models come with AWC which means you can choose between '2WD', '4WD' and 'Lock'.

Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE)

The Mitsubishi Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) system means you and your passengers are protected by the latest energy-absorbing chassis design and technology. In the event of a collision, impact-absorbing crushable zones are designed to absorb and dissipate energy away from the passenger compartment, keeping you and your passengers cocooned and protected.

Reversing Camera

The VRX and optional XLS Luxury Pack has a reversing camera that enhances your field of vision. As part of the MMCS system, the camera automatically appears on screen when the reverse gear is engaged - helping eliminate the biggest blind spot of all. In conjunction with reversing sensors, which alert you when you are getting close to objects, it also makes parking in tight spots a breeze.

MATT™ Mitsubishi All Terrain Technology

In addition to providing new levels of stability and control, the sophisticated MATT™ package includes a number of features to help you avoid accidents and keep you safe. Some of these features include Active Stability Control (ASC), Active Traction Control (ATC), Multi-Mode Anti-lock Brakes with EBD as well as Super All Wheel Control on V6 Models.

SRS Airbags

To provide essential protection in the event of frontal collision, Outlander range is fitted with driver and passenger Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) airbags. Side SRS airbags (driver & front passenger) & curtain SRS airbags are standard on XLS, VR and VRX to significantly reduce the risk of injury from side collisions.

Five star ANCAP rating

Outlander models fitted with side and curtain airbags have been recognised with a class leading 5 star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP), which tests the level of occupant protection provided in serious front and side crashes.

Active Stability Control (ASC)

Active Stability Control (ASC) ensures stability and prevents loss of control when cornering. ASC automatically recognises ‘under steer’ and ‘over steer’ situations, and applies braking to the diagonal wheel to keep Outlander on line through corners.ASC is part of Outlander's MATTTM package.

Reversing sensors

The reversing sensors on XLS, VR and VRX will warn you if you’re getting too close to an object behind you, and will also take the very last centimetre of guesswork out of parking or backing into a tight spot.
